I have had the pleasure of coaching Nicholas Tedesco for nearly three years.
Nicholas is one of the most energetic, loyal and committed young man I know.
On the field, he demonstrates leadership qualities, sportsmanship, respect for others and a
desire to succeed at whatever he puts his mind to. Off the field, Nick is compassionate, giving and supportive.
He takes great pride and joy in helping others, while participating in the many hours of community
service Hank’s Yanks has performed. Nick exemplifies the absolute best qualities of our youth today.

Nick has been a part of the Sachem East Baseball program since he was a Ninth grader, for the past two years
Nick has been on our Junior Varsity baseball team. Over those two years Nick has been a role model who is
always willing to go the extra mile to help his team be successful; he has played first base, 3rd base and
has been a Designated hitter. Nick is always one of the hardest workers at practice, and is one of the team
leaders in our program. Nick’s success on the Junior Varsity level has us very excited for what is in store
for him in the future. Nick participates on many outside teams and is a member of the National Honor Society,
as well as the Vice President of the Business Honor Society. Nick participates in numerous community service
events with these outside organizations including the National Honor Society. Nick does this while maintaining
an overall 96 grade point average. It is evident that Nick is a young man who is constantly working to better
himself and the people around him.
